Looking to enhance the management of its operations, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) wanted to reduce the amount of time to process a bid and amount of errors that occurred during this process, as well as allow operators greater access to their own information. This was the first major project that involved training operators on computer usage and function, so a smooth transition from paper to computer was a concern – if the operators did not willingly embrace the concept, the purpose of the install would be negated. In this Case Study, we examine the smooth transition that CATA made to Trapeze OPS-WEB, and how its seamless integration with other Trapeze products greatly enhanced CATA’s operations.
